Museum Pass

The Broomfield library's Museum Pass program provides free access to explore cultural and recreational institutions in the Front Range.

Requirements for use:
  • Must be 18 or older (passes will not check out to library cards of minors). 
  • Must pick-up and return pass at the Broomfield Library (unless it is a downloadable pass)
  • Pass checkouts are limited to one-time use per card, per year (365 days).
  • Make a reservation for a pass.
  • Checkout period starts on the first day of the reservation despite when in the reservation period it is checked out (unless it is a downloadable pass which is good for the date of reservation only).

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (State Park Pass)
Partnership with Colorado State Library, local library systems and Colorado Parks and Wildlife and meant to encourage Coloradans to visit our State Parks and experience all of the great recreation that this state has to offer. Entry for 1 car per pass.

Clyfford Still Museum

The Clyfford Still Museum opened in 2011 and is the newest addition to Denver’s burgeoning Cultural Arts District located adjacent to the Denver Art Museum in the city’s Civic Center Cultural Complex. Downloadable pass good for free admission for 2 adults and any children 17 and younger who accompany the pass holder. Pass must be presented at the ticket desk. 

Denver Firefighter Museum 
Located in historic Station One, the Museum offers outstanding exhibits on the history of firefighting in Denver. It provides innovative and exciting hands-on activities that allow visitors of all ages to interact with the traditional exhibits. There is always something new to explore! Downloadable pass good for 4 people. Pass only good for day of reservation. Must have pass in hand for entry.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science envisions an empowered community that loves, understands, and protects our natural world. Entry for 7 people per downloadable pass- excludes special exhibits and Planetarium or IMAX. Pass only good for day of reservation. Must have pass in hand for entry.

Denver Trolley
Join the Denver Tramway Heritage Society for an enjoyable ride back in time before the Interstate and jet planes, back to the time when Grandma was a girl being courted by Grandpa as they took a ride on a Breezer! As the Trolley is an open-air “Breezer,” weather is a factor and may not operate should the weather be very unfavorable. This pass allows two visitors to ride at no cost. The trolley operates Thursday through Monday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Go to denvertrolley.org for schedule details.

Golden History Museum & Park 
Test your architectural and building skills in the new Touch Gallery highlighting Golden’s brickmaking heritage. Digitally browse 2,900 collection photographs in the innovative History Lab and see real, behind-the-scenes object research. Meet Legendary People of Golden through little-known stories and unique artifacts. You’ll discover something new on every visit starting with the summer 2018 grand reopening of Golden History Museum! Open six days per week from 10 am – 4:30 pm; closed Tuesdays. Downloadable pass good for 4 people per pass for date of reservation only. Must have pass in hand for entry. 

Molly Brown House Museum
Historic Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum is committed to enhancing the city’s unique identity by telling the story of Margaret “Molly” Brown’s activism, philanthropy and passion through educational programs, exhibits and stewardship. Downloadable pass good for two adults per pass- excludes special events.

WOW! Children's Museum
With educational, hands-on activities and exhibits for all children, WOW! Children’s Museum brings families together and sparks imagination that’s essential for the development of young minds. Downloadable pass includes 1 adult and 1 child per pass- excludes special events.

FAQs

Need to cancel a reservation:
If you need to cancel a reservation please email the Reference Desk to submit your request. referencedesk@broomfield.org

Could not print confirmation:
It is required that you have the reservation confirmation to pick up a physical pass. If you entered a valid email address, a copy of the confirmation was emailed to you. If you did not, there is no way for library staff to retrieve your reservation confirmation. If you do not have the ability to print, you can save your confirmation on your mobile device and use that as proof of reservation.

Late or not returned passes: (not applicable for downloadable passes)
Please be courteous to the next patron by returning the pass by its due date. The pass will be checked out to your library card and a late fee of $1 per day will be assessed until the pass is returned. If the pass is lost, an additional fee of $10 will be assessed. Loss of the state park pass pack will require replacement fees for the individual items in the set. Downloadable passes do not need to be returned, they are only good for the date on the pass. 

To Print downloadable passes: 
You will need to enter your card number to reserve the pass. After making a reservation you will sign in to retrieve the printable pass. Enter your card number in the top right corner (see image) and you will be able to see your list of reservations from which you can either print your pass or your confirmation.
