Look Beyond the Mask
September 24-November 9

The art concept is to paint your mask. Start with a blank slate. Find your inner warrior. Seek the journey of who you are and who you want to become or who you think you are and how you think others see you. How do you want to be seen? You can paint what no one truly sees or you can show what you wish for. Who does your mask represent? There’s no wrong choice. Create. Journey. Dream.

It is a companion show with our One Book, One Broomfield program. The book that was selected this year is BEAUTIFUL BOY by David Sheff. BEAUTIFUL BOY is a memoir which explores issues of substance abuse, fatherhood, and family as seen through the eyes of the father of a young man struggling with addiction.
