Description:
iNaturalist is a website where people can report, share, identify, and discuss their observations of all types of organisms, from animals to fungi!

What is iNaturalist?
iNaturalist.org is a community for naturalists. People can report their observations of all types of organisms, from animals to fungi on this website! Broomfield Open Space and Trails has created a project on iNaturalist for everyone to submit observations, findings and questions from across the county. It doesn’t have to be on open space, it could even be something you saw in your backyard! You can use iNaturalist to get help with species identification and to record where you observed something. The site works on a “crowd-sourced identification system” where you can upload an image or a sound clip of your observation and other users of the website help you identify it. An image or sound clip is encouraged but not required to submit observations.
