A great family summer tradition! Fun in the sun at the BAY Aquatic Park!
Join us this summer at Broomfield's outdoor water park, designed for families and children ages 13 years and under. The Bay features two body slides, an inner tube slide, leisure pool with zero–depth entry and racing slides, and an interactive water play structure. There is also a large, separate tot pool with slides designed for children 6 and under and a sprayground. The park has restrooms and family dressing rooms, concessions area and a large grass and picnic area. Shade pavilions are available for rental.

The Bay will be closed on Thursday, August 24th for a private event!
Post-Summer Hours
Hours from Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023–Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023 (Hours subject to change):
- Monday–Friday: 4 p.m.–7 p.m. (weather permitting)
- Saturday–Sunday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m. (weather permitting)
- The pool will be cleared at 5:45 p.m, 15 minutes prior to closing. All participants must leave the park by 6 p.m.
- The pools will be cleared and closed from 1:30–2 p.m. for a safety check and cleaning. Participants may stay in the park during the closure.
- If you are not leaving the park during the safety check closure, we recommend that you check in with family members, hydrate, take a break from the sun in the shade, have a snack, reapply sunscreen and use the bathroom.
- The Bay will close for the summer on Monday, September 4.
- There will be a back to school schedule with limited hours that will run from Monday, August 14–Monday, September 4.

* For the safety of our patrons and staff, capacity may be called at any time during the day, based upon the number of people admitted into the facility, birthday parties and groups expected, staffing levels, or state and federal occupancy and bather load numbers. If capacity is called, we will only allow additional families to enter the pool when other families leave the pool. This will be monitored every 15 minutes once capacity is called.

Resident Fees
- 3 years and younger, free with a paying adult, 18 years or older
- 4 years and older, $5
Non-Resident Fees
- 3 years and younger, free with a paying adult, 18 years or older
- 4–17 years, $7
- 18–59 years, $9
- 60 years and older, $7
Admittance Policies:
- Everyone is required to pay the daily admittance fee or scan their season pass to enter the park.
- The Bay cannot accept bills larger than $20.
- You must have a Resident ID Card to receive Broomfield Resident rates. Resident ID Cards can be obtained at the Recreation Centers by showing a photo ID and two other items such as a Utility bill or mortgage statement with your Broomfield address.
- Bay admission is included with the All Facility Pass that also includes the Paul Derda Recreation Center and Broomfield Community Center. Take advantage of our Summer Pass valid for unlimited admission to all facilities for a one time fee and valid May 28 through Labor Day. Passes can be purchased online at www.B-REx.com.
- Pool rules and policies are listed on signs around the pool and facility for your safety and convenience. Please read them prior to entering the pool
- Parents are directly responsible for the safety of their children and must be in the pool, directly supervising them at all times
- Glass containers, smoking, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, and open carry of firearms are prohibited. All bags and coolers will be checked prior to entering the facility.
All Facility Recreation Pass
The All Facility Pass and Summer All Facility Pass are available to both residents and non-residents and include entry to PDRC, BCC, and The Bay. Verification of residency must be presented at the time of purchase. Please see Passes and Fees for additional information about passes and rates.
Parent Supervision and age requirements! Children are NOT drown proof! Help protect your child this summer!

Party Reservations
To reserve a party at The Bay, please submit a request through B-REx.com. Click on "Facilities" and filter your search for a Birthday Party on your desired date.Requests are reserved in the order they are received. We will be accepting reservations for the summer, beginning May 1.
Group Reservation
To reserve your group, summer camp, or organization at the Bay, please submit a request through B-REx.com. We will be accepting reservations for the summer, beginning March 1.
After Hours Parties
Join us at The Broomfield Bay for a private After Hours Party! Your family, school or organization will enjoy private access to our pools, aquatic features and park, without the hassle of everyday crowds. To make an After Hours Party reservation, please submit a request through B-REx.com.

Health & Safety Regulations

- Kids 3 and under MUST wear a swim diaper.
- Pool rules and policies are listed on signs around the pool and facility for your safety and convenience. Please read them prior to entering the pool
- Glass containers, smoking, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, and open carry of firearms are prohibited. All bags and coolers will be checked prior to entering the facility.
- Visit the bathroom before you get in the pool.
- Take a full head and body shower before entering the pool.
- Take breaks to hydrate and go to the bathroom.
- Prolonged breath holding or hypoxic training is NOT allowed.
- Do not enter the pool if you show any signs of illness or diarrhea within the past two weeks.
Safety Check
From 1:30-2 p.m. everyday we will clear and close all the pools for a 30 minute safety check and rest break. We encourage parents to check in with their kids, hydrate, reapply sunscreen, take a break from the sun and rest, have a snack, and use the restroom. Adults 18 and older are allowed to swim in the main pool during this time. Participants may stay in the park during the safety check.
No refunds will be issues for intermittent or permanent closure of the facilities.
Inclement Weather
The Bay will not open if the outside temperature is predicted to be below 68 degrees throughout the entire day.
Safety is our priority! The Bay must be cleared any time lightning or severe weather is in the immediate area. The facility will be reopened 30 minutes after the last sight of lightning if sufficient time remains in the day.
For closures due to inclement weather, patrons will be stamped with the date and allowed free re-entry into the Bay on the same day, should it re-open.
Refunds will not be given due to inclement weather.
No refunds regardless of time of arrival.
Rain Checks will not be given due to inclement weather, regardless of time of arrival.
Please consider the weather before choosing to swim and pay admission.

Water Aerobics Classes
Water Aerobics classes are offered at the Bay! A great way to start or end your day with fitness, fun, and friends all summer long!
Classes will be held at the Bay beginning Monday, May 29, 2023:
- Monday–Friday: 8:30–9:30 a.m.
- Tuesdays and Thursday: 6:15-7:15pm
- Saturdays: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
* You must pay the Bay daily drop-in fee or use your All Facility Pass for Bay water aerobics classes. Punch cards will not be accepted at the Bay.
