Volunteers and Service

The City and County of Broomfield is fortunate to have volunteers assist with a variety of programs throughout Broomfield. Volunteers offer their skills and expertise to provide their dedicated service to promote the well-being of the Broomfield community. Opportunities to volunteer may be one time events or ongoing events. Volunteering will require a background check to get involved, unless it's a one time event or the volunteer is age 17 or under. Some volunteer opportunities will have additional requirements, depending on the program.

Many departments within the City and County of Broomfield rely on volunteers. Volunteer opportunities vary from coaching youth sports, delivering meals, picking up trash on trails, repairing library books, and many more. The available volunteer opportunities are viewable on the VolunteerHub site below and can be viewed by department on the left side of the page.

Additional information about court ordered community service and opportunities available for youth can be found at the links below.

This guide provides step by step instructions to create an account in VolunteerHub, which will be necessary in order to sign-up for an opportunity.
