2020 Great Egg Roll Thru_Header

Special for 2020!  April 11, 2020 from 10 - 11 a.m.

Broomfield families, hop in your car and roll through the Paul Derda Recreation Center parking lot to see the Easter Bunny and Helpers handing out pre-stuffed Easter eggs and bags to each child.* The Easter Bunny and Helpers will be at the top of the circle drive at PDRC beginning at 10 a.m handing out bags of Easter Eggs to the first 1000 Broomfield children! 

Vehicles are asked to follow the traffic map to help vehicles move safely through the parking lot. View the traffic map here.

Please remember, all participants must stay in their vehicles. Walk ups are not allowed. 

*Masks and gloves were used to stuff the eggs and will be used during the event. 

Easter Eggstravaganza


For the health and safety of the community, and to encourage social distancing,
Eggstravaganza! is cancelled for this year. 

Easter fun for the entire family!  No registration required, just show up. 

The fun begins at 11am with the Easter Bunny arriving to meet children and take pictures.  At 11:30am the annual Egg Scramble begins.  Egg hunting is for children 8 years old and younger and will be divided by age group.  Be sure to bring your own basket and of course a camera for pictures.  Bunny will be available for photos after the egg hunts, plus enjoy free crafts and free face painting.

In case of inclement weather, candy will be handed out in the lobby of the Broomfield Community Center beginning at 11am

 Paws in the Park


For the health and safety of the community, and to encourage social distancing,
Paws in the Park is cancelled for this year. 

It’s an Easter Egg Hunt for dogs.  Join us for the Easter bonnet parade and pictures with the Easter Bunny.  All friendly dogs are welcome and MUST be on a leash for this event.  Please pick up after your pet and bring a basket for the dog treats.  Paws in the Park is presented by and benefits Broomfield High School’s Future Business Leaders of America.  No pre-registration needed, your $5 per dog at the gate supports the FBLA club.
