Data & Reports
Public health data can include information collected through routine reporting, population-based surveys, epidemiological surveillance activities, or qualitative focus groups.
Data enables staff, community partners, and residents to strategically assess local public health and environmental determinants, status, and outcomes, as well as public health system capacity and performance; plan public health strategies; provide evidence to enable action; and evaluate impact of action on health and the health system. They also help our community identify health inequities that call for systems level changes.
