Classes & Events

You are invited to participate in the Gardening and Environmental Program Series offered by the City and County of Broomfield Parks, Stormwater, and Environmental Services Divisions. This Series provides education on Gardening, Recycling, Energy, the Environment, and Nature. Details of these offerings can be found on the G.R.E.E.N.   • FREE Fall Paper Shred event - Broomfield residents may bring three boxes (banker's or copy paper boxes weighing no more than 35 lbs. per box) of paper or three 32-gallon trash bags of shredded paper for safe and secure destruction. Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Norman Smith Service Center, located at 3001 W. 124th Ave.

The G.R.E.E.N. calendar is sent to Broomfield utility customers with their February water/sewer bills.


Lab Testing


The Environmental Laboratory and Wastewater Laboratory are certified by the State of Colorado to conduct water quality monitoring. Many other environmental programs and services are provided, as well.
