Small Businesses | Applications open Jan. 12, for small business (under 2.5 million in 2019 receipts) grants for businesses in the following sectors: restaurants, bars (including breweries), caterers, movie theatres, and gyms/recreation centers. Businesses that have received other state, local or federal relief may still apply, including businesses who have already received an Enhance Broomfield grant. | Apply at Broomfield.org/EnhanceBroomfield starting January 12. Qualified businesses should apply as soon as possible, and grant awards are expected to begin on February 3. |
Disproportionately Impacted Businesses (formerly minority businesses) | Apply for assistance through the Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Businesses can meet ANY of the following:

Bars, Restaurants, and Food Trucks | Should have received a notification from the Colorado Department of Revenue on this initiative and how to appropriately follow the guidance. Bars, Restaurants, and Food Trucks may temporarily deduct up to $2,037 of monthly State sales tax due, as a direct subsidy from the State of Colorado, for up to five business locations. To help reduce part of your costs in the coming year:

Child Care Providers | There are two grant programs for child care providers facilitated by the Colorado Department of Human Services. The Child Care Relief Grant Program will open for applications on Dec. 31 and the Emerging and Expanding Child Care Grant program will provide a solicitation process by Jan. 2 | Applicants for the Child Care Relief Grant Program must update their program information in the Child Care Staus Portal by Jan. 15 and complete their applications and forms by Feb. 17. Deadlines for the Emerging and Expanding Child Care Grant program are not currently known. |
