Programs and Events:

Due to the COVID-19 Public Health crisis, in addition to the City and County of Broomfield facility closure, the following programs and events are unavailable:

  • Registration for all Recreation programs through the month of May.
  • Broomfield BrewHaHa scheduled for June 13.
  • Broomfield Bay: Due to closures caused by COVID-19 this spring, the Broomfield Bay will not be opening for the Summer. The City made the difficult decision to not open the outdoor aquatic park this summer after carefully considering available public health guidance, the significant financial implications, and the minimum one-month of preparation required to open.
  • 4th of July Picnic, Fireworks, Trails Day: In consideration of large gathering precautions anticipated through the Summer, and for the health and safety of residents, these summer events are cancelled. Look for new ways to celebrate as a community coming soon - we’re hopeful that Broomfield Days will remain on the calendar!
  • Summer Camps remain closed, pending further guidance from the state. Summer camps are licensed through the Colorado Department of Human Services.
