The design is complete and City Council approved a construction agreement with Concrete Express, Inc. on February 23, 2021. Construction will occur during the summer months to minimize impacts on the school and is scheduled to commence on June 1, 2021.
The project will extend the westbound right turn lane on West 136th Avenue, from Zuni into the Legacy High School parking lot on the west side of the school. This project will alleviate traffic congestion at the school during peak volume hours. The City and County of Broomfield has received a Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grant for this project.
