Creatives, come explore the Town of Superior’s new community center. Learn more about how Superior's community, artists, and organizations are using the space. Hear stories of resiliency by artists and the town of Superior and how they continue to build community together. And last but not least come enjoy lunch from Serendipity catering, watch a performance, and participate in a fun scavenger hunt throughout the facility.

Leslie Clark
Town of Superior Park, Recreation and Open Space Director

Leslie Clark is the Park, Recreation and Open Space Director for the Town of Superior, Colorado. Leslie received her Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation Administration from Colorado State University and her Master’s degree in Recreation Administration from Indiana University, and is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP). A strong advocate for public park and recreation, Leslie is an active member of the National Recreation and Park Association, and Colorado Park and Recreation Association. Prior to working in Superior, Leslie was the Recreation Administrator for the City of Mesa, AZ; General Manager for South Suburban Parks and Recreation District in Colorado; Recreation Manager for Scottsdale Parks and Recreation in Arizona; Administrator for Indy Parks and Recreation in Indiana; and the Cultural and Outdoor Recreation Director in Bloomington Indiana.

Jennifer Garner
Town of Superior Cultural Arts Supervisor

Jennifer “JG” Garner is the Cultural Arts Supervisor for the Town of Superior as part of the Parks, Recreation & Open Space department. Besides managing the exhibits program and overseeing the public art collection, she works extensively with the Town’s Cultural Arts & Public Spaces (CAPS) advisory committee on arts programming. Prior to her current position, Jennifer was with the Arts & Events department at Denver International Airport for 6 years working on rotating exhibits throughout the main terminal and concourses, as well as assisted with the public art collection and airport’s special events. Before landing at DIA, Jennifer was a tenured professor in the Department of Art at Metropolitan State University of Denver for 20 years and during that span, she taught studio courses and dually served as the director of their off-campus art center, the CVA and the on-campus Emmanuel Gallery. 

Andrea Golod
Chair of the Cultural Arts & Public Spaces 

Andrea Golod is the Chair of the Cultural Arts & Public Spaces (CAPS) advisory committee for the Town of Superior and leads the group with such endeavors as commissioning new public art pieces, hosting cultural events, workshops, and planning for the ARTery art path. After the Marshall Fire, Andrea spearheaded and secured funding for a free art therapy program for Boulder County residents who were impacted. Outside of this volunteer role, Andrea is the Creative Marketing Manager with Friday Health Plans and also has her own photography business.

Pianist, Guillermo Gauvain

Guillaume Gauvain is a French pianist. Classically trained in France, Guillaume has always loved jazz and is now a life-long self taught jazz student. Guillaume paid his way through college in the US playing in churches in gospel bands.  He then moved to Asia for 15 years where he played in the “Instant Noodles” band, as he and his wife pioneered the first center for visually impaired orphans in China. They now live in Colorado with their 3 children and run “Chez Delphine” a French bakery in Superior.

Serendipity Tap and Cafe 

Serendipity Tap and Cafe is located in the Superior Community Center. We are dedicated to providing locally crafted coffee featuring Pablo’s Coffee, freshly baked pastries (including gluten-free and vegan options), breakfast and lunch options, a selection of local snacks, local beer and wine, and more!
