Johnny & The Mongrels 

Johnny & The Mongrels is a high-powered, New Orleans-influenced band that is "the perfect combination of a funk filled heart & a deep bayou soul." Its founders, currently based in Fort Collins, Colorado, are singer/songwriter Johnny Ryan and singer / bassist / songwriter Jeff Bostic. Recorded July 29, 2020.

The Jack Hadley Band 

Jack Hadley is a blues guitarist and singer based in Boulder, Colorado. He performs his newest project "Daybreak in Alabama - The Langston Hughes Project." Recorded for July 4, 2020.

Tenia Nelson Trio 

Tenia Nelson Trio is a jazz trio group. They have been playing with each other for a few years now and have performed all over Denver. They love to experiment with all genres and type of music in a Jazz setting. Recorded September 20, 2020.

Chroma Donna 

Chroma Donna is a collaboration of original music with Jessica Jones, James Dumm, Josh Fairman and many more. Their pop rock rhythm will get you on your feet. Jessica’s sultry voice will speak to your soul. 

Jessica Jones is a Soul Singer with roots in Jazz, Funk, Blues, R&B, Rock and Hip-Hop. She has quickly built a name for herself as a poignant improvisational singer keeping audiences on their toes with off the cuff lyrics and wailing vocals. Recorded Sept. 30, 2020.

The Brothers of Brass 

Brothers of Brass is a drum outfit specializing in hard-hitting street music, where Southern brass tradition meets the Colorado streets! The full eight-piece brass band is primed to infuse Broomfield with their lively, upbeat and brassy sounds.Recorded on October 2, 2020.

The Influenza and COVID-19 Pandemics: From 1918 to 2020 and back again 

History gets real with this innovative program at the Broomfield Auditorium. "Mrs. Kearns" (a fictional character portrayed by Denver Museum of Nature & Science actor Janice Estey) of Leadville, Colorado, will dive deep into the Influenza Pandemic of 1918-1919 from her first-hand experience. This program is presented in partnership with the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the Friends of Broomfield History.

A View of WWII through Women's Eyes

Genevieve DeGaulle worked with the Free France Movement during WWII. She was captured and sent to Ravensbruck, the women’s concentration camp in Germany. She survived and came back to France, and advocated for the Holocaust victims, and the French citizens, “a voice for the voiceless.” On the homefront in the United States, women supported the troops in many ways. The most powerful support was the millions of letters they sent to the troops to boost their morale. Women were involved in many aspects of WWII. Shirley Jamiel and Colleen Sawyer will share two different stories of women’s roles during the war. This program is supported by the Broomfield Veterans Museum and SCFD, the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District.

Jon Wirtz Trio

Jon Wirtz brings the SPEAK MUSIC  concept to a live stage for the first time. Inspired by the desire to "create something beautiful simply for the sake of creating something beautiful," this night will feature an entire set of original music and musical explorations that has never been performed before. Recorded November 5, 2020.

Amelie Quintet 

Amelie Quintet plays Parisian Salon Music and Gypsy Jazz. Top tapping, lively music in the style of Django Reinhardt/Stephane Grapelli will transport you to an Old World cafe for the evening. The band is comprised of legendary accordionist Dave Willey, Polish virtuoso violinist Margarita Sleziak-Sallee, Gary Sloan on upright bass and guitarist Kevin Garry. Recorded on October 16, 2020.


Powerful messages needn't always be spoken. ALTAS sends a distinctive message heard loud and clear in their melodic instrumental rock compositions. Recorded on October 28, 2020.
