Preble Creek Pedestrian Crossing

Beginning September 5, 2023, Broomfield's contractor, KRM Concrete LLC, will commence construction on a pedestrian crosswalk located HERE on Preble Creek Parkway. Once complete, this connection will enhance pedestrian safety and connectivity in the Anthem neighborhood; however, it may cause some temporary inconveniences for families walking to school and individuals driving through the project area during construction.

The construction process is estimated to take approximately three weeks. This timeline includes around two weeks of active construction work, followed by an additional week for the concrete to properly cure and installation of the pedestrian-activated flashers. Our team is committed to minimizing disruptions as much as possible, and we'll be working diligently to ensure the project proceeds smoothly and efficiently. No concrete deliveries and no heavy machinery will be allowed to operate during drop-off and pick-up times at Thunder Vista K-8.
