Anthem Community Park Underpass

The Anthem Community Park Underpass and Trail Project is now Underway.  Beginning the week of October 2, 2023, the City and County of Broomfield, in partnership with Civil Specialties, Inc., will break ground on the highly-anticipated Anthem Community Park Underpass and Trail Project. The project will include the construction of a vital 1,100-foot trail segment linking West 160th Avenue to the Northwest Parkway Underpass. This crucial connection bridges the gap between the north and south segments of the Broomfield Community Trail. Residents of Anthem, North Park, and neighborhoods north of State Highway 7 will soon enjoy better trail access to Anthem Community Park and the southern half of Broomfield.

Please note that for the safety of the public, trail access will be CLOSED during construction. We kindly ask all trail users to follow designated alternate routes and adhere to safety and detour signage.  The public can expect work to occur between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and, on occasion, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Construction is anticipated to wrap up by mid-December.
