  1. Free Class: Noxious Weeds in Colorado

    Ever wonder if the flowering plant that keeps growing wild in your yard is a weed or just an uncontrollable plant? This class will give you basics of what a weed is, its impacts, its characteristics, and how to control them throughout the seasons. Colorado's climate, soils, temperatures, and elevations can be a perfect environment for those pesky weeds.

  2. Children - Family Early Literacy Time

    April 5, 2014, 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM @ Children's Story Room

    Families of all ages are welcome, but the focus will be newborns - Pre-K. Stories, books, fingerplays and songs will focus on an early literacy skill, followed by a fun craft. Families will have the opportunity to practice activities they can use at home to learn early literacy skills needed for children to become successful learners in school. Please pick up a FREE ticket at the Children's Desk the morning of the program. Held on the first Saturday of the month.

  3. Teen - Nanodays Celebration for the Whole Family

    April 5, 2014, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    Hands-on activities from the NISE Network and WOW! Children's Museum. Scientists will also be here from CU-Boulder to show the latest in nanotechnology. This program is open to the whole family. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. This is a drop-in style program but registration is still required. Stop by the Teen Zone Desk or call 720-887-2360 to register.
