The Jefferson Parkway Public Highway Authority (JPPHA) has established a citizen advisory group called the Jefferson Parkway Advisory Committee (JPAC). The purpose of this twelve member committee is to represent the diversity of perspectives in the community regarding the Jefferson Parkway project. There is no expectation by either the JPPHA or the JPAC that there will be a consensus regarding the Jefferson Parkway.
The idea for the JPAC is for various stakeholders to share their views in a respectful neutral forum while learning more about the project itself. The JPAC held its first monthly meeting in January 2018. The meetings are open to the public.
