New Mayor and Council members take oath of office Tuesday

At the Council meeting Tuesday evening, the newly elected Mayor and five new and returning Council members took the oath of office and were seated at the dais for the first official meeting following Broomfield's 2013 Coordinated Election. Broomfield residents elected a new Mayor, two new Council members and re-elected three returning Council members. They join the five Council members already seated whose terms will expire in two years.

The Council then recognized outgoing Mayor Pat Quinn and former Council members Denny McCloskey and Bob Gaiser for their service to the community.
