[ARCHIVED] Code Blue Warming Center Information

blue heading icons_weather snow

During our cold weather months, the volunteer-fueled Code Blue Warming Center in Broomfield partners with local, rotating host sites to provide a warm place to sleep for our neighbors who are unhoused.

The Code Blue “Status” page hosted on the Broomfield VOAD website is updated daily around noon from October-April. It details whether or not the warming center has been activated, and if it has been activated, when and where it will be open.

Anyone interested in serving as a warming center greeter, overnight host, or cleanup/laundry volunteer, should email codebluebroomfield@gmail.com for more information.

Volunteers

Since low temperatures are forecast to fall below 20 degrees for most of this week, we would like to open the warming center at BUMC on each of those nights. Our only obstacle is having enough volunteers to operate. Please go to this Signup Genius page if you or someone you know would be willing to serve.
