[ARCHIVED] Universal Waste Collection Community Forum

The City and County of Broomfield is considering implementing a Universal Waste Collection system for the community. This means the community of Broomfield would transition from using multiple waste haulers operating on their own schedules to contracting with one or more haulers to collect your trash, recycling and compost all at once. You would choose the size of carts your household needs and the service fee would be based on the trash cart size. Recycling and composting would be included in the cost of trash so you don’t have to pay extra for compost and recycling.

Want to learn about what this could mean for your home and the community? Attend the Universal Waste Collection Community Forum on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Broomfield Council Chambers to learn more and ask questions you may have about this program.
