The Broomfield community has spoken! After a two-week period of voting on the Broomfield Voice, Kate Fitzpatrick's "The Broomfield Dragon" has been selected as the fourth and final mural for the Community-Powered Art at Broomfield Community Park project.
With nearly 1,000 votes cast on Broomfield Voice, it's clear the community is excited about this project. The Arts, History, and Cultural Council (AHCC) selected three designs; Stacey Reynolds, “Bloom Brightly”, AJ Davis, “Bloom”, and Julie Kitzes and Samantha Pascavis, “I Spy Colorado Wildlife.”
The fourth mural design was selected by community vote. The first of four murals will be installed on Monday, May 1 and the other three murals are scheduled to be installed in early May. The Community-Powered Art at Broomfield Community Park project was initiated by John Hubbard on behalf of Broomfield Bikes, a local nonprofit organization.
