blue heading icons_police officer

For the safety of all attendees, the following road entrances to Broomfield County Commons Park will close to incoming traffic at 8 p.m. until the fireworks are finished:

  • Sheridan Boulevard and Broomfield County Commons Drive
  • Red Deer Trail (Red Leaf Neighborhood)
  • Paul Derda Recreation Center entrance

After 8 p.m. the only vehicles allowed to enter the parking lots of Commons Park will be shuttle buses from Legacy High School. If you plan to drop off friends and family at the park, do so before 8 p.m.

If you prefer to take a bus to the park, six shuttles will be running from Legacy High School to Commons Park starting at 5 p.m. The buses will run until approximately 9 p.m. when they will stop for the fireworks show. Once the fireworks show is complete, shuttles will resume operations to transport attendees back to Legacy High School.

One of the shuttle buses is equipped to accommodate ADA and other accessibility needs.

If you choose to park in the neighborhoods surrounding Commons Park, please be courteous of nearby residents and do not block driveways.

Thank you for your cooperation and Happy Fourth of July!
