A park to be proud of. The 300-acre site is home to the Paul Derda Recreation Center, County Commons cemetery, 237 acres of open space, and the 80-acre park/sports complex.
County Commons Sidewalk Closure: Due to an ongoing Xcel potholing and utility project in the area, a full closure of portions of the County Commons Park sidewalk between 10th and 13th Avenue will be closed from Thursday, May 27 through Wednesday, June 2. A second closure is expected in mid-June through July. See the Public Notice for the Xcel EB-20 Gas Line for more details.

Access the park through the Paul Derda Recreation Center parking lot, (13201 Lowell Boulevard, off of Lowell Boulevard between Midway Avenue and 136th Avenue) or off of Sheridan Boulevard between Midway Avenue and 136th Avenues.
Features
The park features 15 playing fields, including soccer, two playgrounds, a pavilion, and five picnic huts. The site's artificial turf Championship Field is truly a field of dreams for many in the recreational sports community.
