  2. Wednesdays on the Waterfront Summer Concert Series: Richie Law and the Southern Routes Band

June 28, 2017, 7:00 PM @ Broomfield Amphitheater at Community Park

Colorado’s rising star, Richie Law, gained momentum as a Season 11 Top 40 American Idol Finalist. Since then, he has had major opens with Darius Rucker, Jewel, Thompson Square, Sawyer Brown, Josh Turner and many others. He is a Grand Champion of American Country Star, the 2015 recipient of the Rocky Mountain USO Entertainer of the Year, and the recipient of the 2016 Male Vocalist of the Year Award. His amazing blend of high energy and classic country will keep your feet tapping. His band, the Southern Routes Band, contains some of the top musicians in the Rocky Mountain Region. Don’t be surprised if this 6’5’’ southern gentleman joins you on the dance floor and kicks up his heels with you (while singing I might add). Though he is renowned for his “low” Josh Turner/Johnny Cash vocals, be prepared for him to raise the roof with his high range as well. You won’t find a five star rated national act that is more personable or entertaining than Richie Law and the Southern Routes Band.
