  1. Children - Cat's Hat Reading Program

    March 10, 2017, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Children's Library

    All children up to age 12 are invited to participate! Kids can read 3 books at their level, write the titles of the books on a Cat's Hat tally sheet and put it in the Cat's Hat on the desk in the Children's Library. Non-readers may be read to. Tally sheets can be picked up in the Children's Library or downloaded from the Children's Library website after March 1. Enter as many times as you like from March 1 - 31. Entries will be chosen at random after March 31 to receive a Seuss-tastic prize!

  2. Adult- English Language Conversation Group

    Practice your spoken English in the Library's conversation groups. The conversation groups are a fun way to improve your English. These classes are for those who use English as a second language and do not specifically emphasize grammar or vocabulary. Conversation groups meet Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. No registration is needed.

  3. Children - Bilingual Story Time

    Stories, songs, rhymes and fun for children of all ages and their parents or caregivers. Story time will be presented in Spanish and English. Cuentos, canciones, rimas y diversión para niños de todas las edades y sus padres o sus cuidadores. Este programa se presenta en español e inglés. Everyone is welcome! No registration required!

  1. Student Art Show

    March 10, 2017, 6:30 PM - March 11, 2017, 3:00 PM @ Broomfield Community Center

    Each year, Broomfield Recreation Services and the Broomfield Council on the Arts and Humanities sponsor the Student Art Show. Open to students K–12 attending Broomfield area schools, the show is designed to give students an opportunity to display their work and allow the community a chance to view the quality artwork created by young artists in Broomfield. Students interested in participating in this show should speak with their school’s art teacher. There will be a reception on Friday, March 10 from 6:30–8:30 pm and the art show will be open on Saturday, March 11 from 9 am–3 pm.
