Join The Schiff Dance Collective, Students, and special guest Hayden Dansky and Allison Blakeney for an evening of dance, music, and spoken word that will explore and uncover how we experience difference.

Since founded in 2006 by Artistic Director, Jenny Schiff, The Schiff Dance Collective has been “Schiff-ting” audiences throughout Colorado. Using human themes and stories gathered from their community to create choreographic works, they strive to make dance relatable to a larger audience and create community through the arts. Having presented 11 evening length works and multiple commissions, they have been described as “stunning,” “a fresh look,” and “powerful.” Through performances, instruction, and outreach The Schiff Dance Collective aids the community in finding the truth and passion in their lives through movement.

With a background that ranges from being a bouncer with The Rolling Stones and The Who, a 25-year career in veterinary medicine that saw him named “Specialist of the Year in Private Practice” in 2006, and over 20-years of performing as a professional stand-up comedian; Kevin Fitzgerald is a true renaissance man.

Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald has performed stand-up comedy and been a staple of the Denver comedy scene since 1986. Since that time, Kevin has opened for and worked with such diverse and legendary performers as Joan Rivers, Bob Hope, Kevin Nealon, Brian Regan, and Norm McDonald.

He is probably best known for his eleven seasons on the popular Animal Planet television series Emergency Vets. He believes his unusual dual-career as doctor and comedian offers him a unique perspective on life. Dr. Fitzgerald also believes none of us laughs enough.
