Home Service Program

Broomfield Library's Home Service program serves Broomfield residents who are physically unable to come to the library. With Home Service, volunteers will bring the library to you!

Who is eligible?

Individuals who live in the City and County of Broomfield and are physically unable to come to the library due to illness, disability, or mobility-related issues are eligible for the Home Service program.

What kind of materials will I get?

When you sign up for the service, we will ask about your reading preferences. Our trained volunteers will select materials for you based off of your preferences and deliver them to you once a month. Broomfield Library has a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, audio books, and large print books available. You will also have access to our movie and TV series collection.

Due to the length of time items are checked out to Home Service patrons, new items or items marked as “Lucky Day” in our catalog are unavailable.

How often are materials delivered?

Volunteers will deliver and pick up materials once a month.

Will I be charged for overdue books?

No, you will not be charged for overdue books as the library is fine-free. However, you will be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

How can I learn more about this program or sign up?

To receive an application or ask questions, call the Home Service Coordinator, Renato, at 720.887.2345 or email rporras@broomfield.org. Review the Home Service Application.

Completed applications can be mailed to Renato Porras at 3 Community Park Road, Broomfield, CO 80020.
