The Broomfield Police Department Community Academy (formerly the Citizen’s Academy) has been refreshed with exciting new updates. The academy will now be 10 weeks in length, reduced from the previous 15 weeks, and will run continuously with no breaks between instructional blocks. Additionally, session length has been adjusted. Classes will now run for three hours per session, increased from two and a half hours. These changes are intended to streamline the program while maintaining the quality of instruction and community engagement.

- Classes are Wednesday nights from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
- You must complete an application (minimum age is 16).
- A background check will be conducted and you will be notified of your acceptance and reservation in the class.
