Caregiver Respite Information
Are you providing care for someone 60+ in Broomfield County? Please contact Senior Services at 303.464.5529 to find out how the Caregiver Respite Program may be able to assist you with no cost, temporary, in-home services. Qualifications are based on need. This valuable program provides respite care for family members and/or caregivers while supporting seniors the opportunity to age in place. Funding is made possible thanks to a local grant and contributions from individuals. All contributions are voluntary and confidential. If you would like to contribute, please call 303.464.5526.
Information and Assistance Program
Helps older adults navigate resources to support healthy aging and independence. This assistance includes prevention, mental health, isolation, and other concerns. Residents are provided resources and advocacy in making contact with appropriate agencies to meet individual needs. Follow up and evaluation are provided to ensure the resident is receiving the appropriate services. Access these resources and many more by calling Broomfield Senior Services at 303.464.5526.
Senior Special Needs Financial Assistance Program
Adults, 60+ can receive assistance paying for dental and medical procedures, hearing aids, vision assistance, medication requirements, and other items/activities that support your wellbeing so you can live independently and age in place. Requests for assistance are considered on a case-by-case basis to address needs not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or other health insurance. Hearing Clinic
4th Tuesday, 1-2:30 p.m., FREE
The Family Hearing Center provides a no-charge hearing clinic at BCC. The clinic includes ear wax removal, hearing screening and hearing device maintenance & repairs. Appointments can be made by calling Family Hearing at 303.465.4327.
Medical Foot Care
3rd Tuesday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., $45
Services are provided by Colorado Visiting Nurses Association. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call Jana Stone at 303.549.5655. Cash, checks, and debit/credit cards are accepted. Checks made out to CVNA. If paying with cash, the exact amount is required due to COVID. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify, thanks to the SRB Support Fund.
