Motor Vehicle
Broomfield County Motor Vehicle offers title, registration, license plates, disability placards and related vehicle services for Broomfield County residents. If you do not live in Broomfield County, please contact the Motor Vehicle office for the county in which you reside. We are dedicated to providing efficient, accurate and friendly service to all Broomfield residents.
NOTE: This office is not a Driver's License location
Driver's licenses are issued by the State of Colorado. You can locate a driver's license/ID/Motor Vehicle Record office through Colorado's Driver's License Location finder.
City and County of Broomfield's Client Services Coordinator
A Client Services Coordinator will be available for things such as verifying residency, directing residents to appropriate alternative resources when needed and ensuring clients have all required paperwork before proceeding. Please check in with them upon entering the office.

DMV Anywhere
Even though Broomfield Motor Vehicle is closed Fridays, you can DMV anywhere! Go online and save time! Renew vehicle registrations, driver’s license, ID card, update your address and more at DMV.Colorado.gov.
Use the Colorado MVExpress Kiosk
Located inside the Broomfield King Soopers (at 12167 Sheridan Blvd.), the self-service kiosk is a fast, easy way to renew your registration and walk away with your tabs!

If your vehicle has or will have an expired temporary permit or license plate prior to receiving the new plates in the mail (approx 21 days), you may be subject to Law Enforcement action for driving on an expired registration
