Thank you for your interest in Broomfield’s Water Rebate Program and your commitment to water efficiency.
There are some exciting changes coming to Broomfield’s Water Efficiency Program!
Beginning May 1, 2020, water rebates will be issued as a credit on customers’ water bills.
All qualifying applications received after May 1, 2020, will receive a credit on their water bills instead of a rebate check. Qualifying applications received prior to May 1, 2020, will be issued a rebate check.
Credits that exceed a monthly bill will be carried forward to the next billing period. Credits will be applied to future bills until depleted.
If a customer transitions off service, but still has a credit his or her account, a refund for the credit amount will be issued via check.
Credit exceptions include: commercial rebates, recent home sellers who made a fixture replacement before the sale of the home, and rental property owners.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for rebate/credit processing.
