The Broomfield-Westminster Open Space Foundation (BWOSF)
In 2005, the City of Westminster and the City and County of Broomfield approved an Intergovernmental Agreement to create a foundation for the acquisition, financing, management and maintenance of Metzger Farm. The Broomfield-Westminster Open Space Foundation was thus established by the two governmental entities to oversee the management of the property. The foundation is dedicated to preserving the property's unique natural and historical features, providing compatible passive recreation and educational opportunities and ensuring sustainable stewardship for the enjoyment of future generations.
Donate or Fundraise
Contributions to the Broomfield-Westminster Open Space Foundation directly support the stewardship and maintenance of the historic 152-acre Metzger Farm. Donating through Colorado Gives, helps preserve vital wildlife habitats and educational farmstead resources for the continued enjoyment of the Broomfield and Westminster communities.
