Child Care Facility Inspections

Environmental Health Specialists monitors the safe and healthy operation of licensed child care facilities. Regular inspections are conducted to ensure compliance with state regulations. More information on state regulations can be found at the Colorado Child Care Facility Inspections website.

To protect Broomfield residents and future residents from Methamphetamine (Meth) exposure from residual contamination in structures, the Broomfield Public Health and Environment in conjunction with the Broomfield Building Department, when informed of a Meth contaminated structure, will: take action to prevent exposure, verify the appropriate actions are taken to remediate the contamination, document the actions taken to mitigate the contamination and render the structure fit for occupancy. Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment

A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is commonly conducted as part of a commercial property to determine if the property has been subject to potential or existing environmental contamination such as hazardous materials spills or mitigation.
