Libby is an app that you can use to access Broomfield Library's ebooks, audiobooks and digital magazines for free with your library card.
To get started, visit the Libby App or download the app on your smartphone or tablet and enter your Broomfield Library card when prompted.
Adult Book Groups
Broomfield Library hosts several Adult Book Groups. See dates, times and titles by clicking on the links below:
- Best Sellers Past & Present, 2nd Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m.
- Historeads (Historical Fiction), 3rd Thursdays, 12:30-2 p.m.
- Novel Conversations, 1st Mondays, 6:30-8 p.m. (virtual meeting option available)
- Romance Book Group, 2nd Thursdays, 6:30-8 p.m.
- Science Fiction & Fantasy, 2nd Wednesdays, 7-8:45 p.m.
- Second Monday Readers, 2nd Mondays, 7-8:30 p.m.
Book Group Kits (Book Group in a Bag)
Broomfield Library maintains a collection of book group-ready kits, which include eight copies of each title, author biography and bibliography, a list of read-alikes, assorted reviews and discussion questions. Visit the Book Group in a Bag list in the library catalog to learn more!

Staff Picks
Each month, Broomfield Library staff members create a new Staff Picks list and library display with a different prompt. Explore past years' lists in the dropdown menus!
- January 2026 - Library staff shared their favorite Jewish authors, as well as both fiction and nonfiction books about Jewish life, culture and history. Delve into this topic further by joining the new Between Two Worlds Book Group at the library!

- July 2024 - Celebrate the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games with books about the Olympics, sports, athletes, or set in Paris or France!
- August 2024 - On August 8th, the Society of Happy People will celebrate a significant milestone: Happiness Happens Day will be 25! Over the years, Happiness Happens Day has been extended to Happiness Happens Month for all of August, and is a time we can reflect and celebrate all the things that help us find joy in our lives.
