Are you a new contractor to Broomfield?  Please complete the License Application below and email it to us at contractorlicense@broomfield.org.  We will set you up an online account.

Permits cannot be applied for Online.  All permit applications, revisions, affidavits, and general questions should be emailed to us at buildingpermits@broomfield.org.

We are receiving several requests by email, please be patient for a response. If you need to know review timelines please see the information listed below before you call.

You may email contractor licenses applications, renewals, insurance certificates, and any contractor license questions to contractorlicense@broomfield.org.

If you are emailing or faxing in permits for A/C's, furnaces, Re-Roofs, Water Heaters, etc. please allow at least 3 to 5 business days for turn around time.  All other review time frames are listed on our Building Division Home Page under Review Timelines.

Please Note: Tenant Finish and New Commercial applications will require 1 hard copy plan set as well as an electronic copy of the plans and permit application.

Plans or supporting information cannot exceed 25MB!

If you are mailing in a check for permits we will email your receipt and permit card, your approved plans will be available in the online portal. If your permit has large documents or rolled sets of plans that cannot be emailed you will have to arrange a time to pick those up.

We are taking credit card payments.  There is a 2.65% convenience fee that will be added if you decide to use a credit card/bank card for payment.
