The Senior Services team offers numerous workshops and opportunities for ongoing education to the older adult community in Broomfield.

Cop Talk

Cop Talk is an informal monthly event, held during the Healthy Hearts lunch on the third Wednesday of the month, that brings together police officers and the community. Lunch attendees are encouraged to ask questions, raise any concerns they have, or say hello. Attendees must be pre-registered to attend the lunch.

Real Estate 2026: What's Ahead

Staying Independent with a Friendly Voice: How IM Supports Healthy Aging

IM is a new kind of voice companion designed to help older adults stay independent, connected, and mentally sharp. In this interactive session, Tyler Huggins from IM Forever will show how simple voice conversations can support daily routines, memory, and emotional well-being, while respecting privacy and personal preferences. Participants will see live examples, ask questions, and leave with practical ideas for how voice technology can support healthy aging at home and in the community. (drop in) (free)

Solo Aging & the Conversation Around Advanced Care Planning

Aging without a traditional support system can make future planning—especially healthcare decisions—feel overwhelming. This session is for those aging solo who want to ensure their values and wishes are respected. You'll learn how to identify someone to speak on your behalf, explore creative ways to document and share your wishes, and discover tools that support autonomy and peace of mind.
