*ANNOUNCEMENT*
The City and County of Broomfield has recently completed its Utility Rate Study. There will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about the study and the proposed changes to utility rates, fees, and charges. The biggest impact to residential customers is the proposed structure change to become tiered rates
*Join us Thursday, July 21st, 6pm for a Public Discussion* in the City Council Chambers.
*Customers will have the opportunity to bring their utility bills to enter into a bill estimator and determine any potential changes as a result of the study.
The Finance Department is responsible for the efficient collection of city and county revenues, controlling the city and county's financial assets, disbursement of city and county expenditures, purchasing and employee payroll. The department includes budget, fiscal management, risk management, purchasing, utility billing, sales tax, public trustee, and treasurer.
