inventHQ Makerspace
inventHQ is Broomfield Library's makerspace. It is a place to invent, learn, play and build community. Programming is offered for all ages and a wide variety of interests. Tools in the space include a laser cutter, 3D printers, digital embroidery machines, sewing machines, electronic cutters, small board electronics and more!
inventHQ is free and open to all - no library card or residency required.
Drop-in Open Hours at inventHQ
There is no registration required for Open Hours - stop by for a tour to meet the staff, who can help you get started on a project or learn a new skill. Ages 12 and younger need adult with them during their visit.
Fill out a waiver in advance before your first visit.
- Tuesdays from 2–7 p.m.
- Thursdays from 2–7 p.m.
- Fridays from noon–5 p.m.
- Saturdays from noon–5 p.m.

Drop-in Open Hours for Teens & Seniors
Looking to connect with others your own age? inventHQ offers drop-in Open Hours that are age-specific for teens and older adults:
- Crafting Community (55+): Join other seniors on Fridays from 9 - 11 a.m. to craft community! This time is reserved for older adults who want to work on projects and connect with others, or for people of all ages who want to volunteer their time toward preparing materials for inventHQ programs and community outreach.
- TeenHQ (6th-12th grade): Try something new, make new friends and get creative in this monthly drop-in program just for tweens and teens in middle and high school (or homeschool equivalent).
