Lakeview Cemetery Infrastructure

Project Update

The City and County of Broomfield, in partnership with contractor KECI Civil, Inc., will begin construction on the Lakeview Cemetery Infrastructure and Fence Rehabilitation Project starting Monday, Nov. 10, 2025.

Project Overview

The Lakeview Cemetery, located one block west of Main Street on 10th Avenue, is a historic site originally incorporated in 1890. This project will involve the expansion of the existing columbarium at Lakeview Cemetery and the rehabilitation of the historic wrought iron fence surrounding the site.

The planned improvements include:

  • Construction of footer foundations for the columbarium and associated civil infrastructure
  • Restoration of the wrought iron perimeter fence
  • Rehabilitation of the historic entrance gate and pedestrian gates

These enhancements are designed for long-term durability, ensuring the cemetery’s infrastructure continues to serve the community for decades to come.
