Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee

The purpose of the committee is to advise the City Council on amendments to the parks and recreation portions of the Master Plan. The committee is charged with the responsibility of making recommendations to the City Council regarding the following:

  • The acquisition of parcels for parks and recreation purposes
  • New and upgraded parks and recreation facilities
  • A long-range plan for parks and recreation facilities development

Meetings 

  • Meetings are typically held the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
  • Meetings are held in person at The Broomfield Community Center

Applications to become a committee member are accepted in January of each year.

Field Use Study Completed

Ballard*King and Associates, LTD completed a report, "Athletic Field Use and Demand Analysis Study," to analyze Broomfield's current status and future needs for athletic fields in October 2014. View the report.
