Purpose
The purpose of the committee is to advise the City Council on amendments to the parks and recreation portions of the Master Plan. The committee is charged with the responsibility of making recommendations to the City Council regarding the following:
- The acquisition of parcels for parks and recreation purposes
- New and upgraded parks and recreation facilities
- A long-range plan for parks and recreation facilities development

Any interested citizen is invited to attend these public meetings.
Applications to become a committee member are accepted in January of each year.
Ballard*King and Associates, LTD completed a report, "Athletic Field Use and Demand Analysis Study," to analyze Broomfield's current status and future needs for athletic fields in October 2014. View the report.
