We’ll guide you through:

- Interview tips and techniques
- Identifying education, training and experience requirements
- Navigating online job boards and career fair resources
- Targeting your job search by industry, and more
Additionally, the Broomfield Workforce Center is fortunate to have a full-time Colorado Department of Labor and Employment Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP) available to provide one-on-one assistance to eligible veterans and spouses seeking guidance in obtaining employment. The DVOP provides intensive services to meet the employment needs of eligible veterans and eligible spouses with significant barriers to employment. As fellow veterans, we know how to help. We know firsthand what businesses are looking for in a resume, and the questions employers are likely to ask in an interview. Meet with a Workforce Specialist to learn more about eligibility requirements for intensive services.
Veteran Status:
Veterans must have served at least one day of active duty (not including training) or on active duty during a war or in a campaign or expedition for which a badge was authorized and was discharged or released with other than a dishonorable discharge. Veterans discharged due to a service-connected disability also meet the basic eligibility criteria.
Both the Broomfield Workforce Specialists and the Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialists understand that it's not always an easy transition from the military to civilian employment. Contact the Workforce Center at 303-464-5855, for additional information and to make an appointment to meet with a specialist. We look forward to working with you.
