About Sarah
Sarah was elected by Ward 3 in 2025. She and her husband, Mathew, have lived in Broomfield since 2016. In her free time, she enjoys walking the local trails with her dogs, birdwatching, sharing good food with friends and neighbors, and playing board games.
Education
Sarah has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Emergency Management & Homeland Security from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia.
Professional Background
Sarah's career has been in service of public education with 15 years of governance, risk management, and compliance experience. She is currently the assistant vice chancellor for information security at the University of Colorado Boulder, and was previously the assistant information security officer at the University of Colorado System Office.
Political/Community Experience
Sarah is on the Board of Directors for The Outlook HOA and a former member of the Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability (ACES).
She is currently representing Council on the following Boards and Commissions:
