Fitness Policies
Fitness Safety & Rules
Though the format of all fitness classes is structured for the safety of the participant, it is important that each individual know their own limits. It is your responsibility to know your own abilities and to exercise at your own pace. Participants should monitor their own heart rates through the Perceived Exertion Rate (you should be able to talk comfortably without being out of breath). If you have questions about how to measure your heart rate, please ask your instructor.
Reservations for all fitness classes must be made at B-REx.com prior to attending. Class sizes are limited. All fitness classes are co-ed and open to anyone 16 years and older. Youth, 12–15 years, can register and participate with an adult 18 and older if the instructor feels the class is appropriate for the specific child. Children are not allowed in the fitness rooms for any reason while adult fitness classes are in session. This is too disruptive to participants as well as to the instructor and safety is our primary goal in our fitness studios. Child Watch is available during most PDRC fitness classes.
